Hi, hello. hola. bonjour, etc. Erm, I apologize. this is awkward. I'm a newbie here! I'll try to keep up with posting but it's kinda frightening! i'll face my fears for you though? you know - for You, whoever you are. You, who is blindlessly reading these words on your brightly-magnificently lit desktop screen. And especially I'll post to spite boredom away during my last year of highschool. I'll post some psuedotography, some banters, maybe some babblings and other bantles.
I have previous dabbles in writings I could post. but I'd rather not! I have one thing on my mind at the moment: balance.
How is it that our perspective can be so skewed by science or religion? it's a way we choose to live our lives, but anyone can ask a religious man and a scientific man a question and receive two distinctly opposite answers.
for example, hypothetical situation one: you ask a middle-aged man wearing a blue sweater vest and jeans: "How was the world created?" His reply: "Ha-ha. My dear stranger, the world was created by God."
"Okay", you say. You walk down the street and approach a grungier-looking man, approximately the same age as the man wearing the blue sweater vest. The grungy man has a smile in his face, and the sunlight emphasizes the dirt in the cracks of his dimples. By his awkward gesture and facial expression, it's obvious he's been in an isolated area for awhile. So you take a chance and assume he's a scientist. "How was the world created?" you ask.
"Well you see, a single atom was traveling at the speed of light, and happened to crisscross into the direction of another atom traveling at the same speed - creating what is formally called the 'Big Bang Theory'...." he goes on but you walk away. 'what nut-jobs' you think.
well, dick-face, those 'nut-jobs' represent two opposite sides of a widely-discussed argument. So my question to you is: why can't we accept both ideas? Create a balance between both of them.
Balance seems to shape our world. For instance, it's a law of science that for every matter, there is an antimatter. electrons counter protons. in religion, the devil counteracts God. black and white. awake and asleep. life, and death.
What I'm trying to get at is that to every argument there is two sides. And more generally, I think that to every component of life - there happens to be two sides of it. So I guess what makes the world go round are these polar opposites, and especially the balance between it all.
